We won Olympic trials, and are headed to the Olympics. Wow. My feelings oscillate between emotional alluvion (wow!), and complete normalness (I am the same person I was yesterday). In the end, I feel something of disbelief, that little old ordinary me is now in the extraordinary company of Usain Bolt, Carl Lewis, Jesse Owens, Pyrros Dimas (bet you have to look that one up), and my all-time favorite, Kerri Strug. What a year this has been.
