new directions

I haven't been as good about posting this year, mostly cause I have a hard time thinking of anything interesting to post about. The only thing I have expertise in is rowing, and I think I've written most if not all of the interesting things I can say about rowing. Lets be honest, its a pretty simple sport. I do devote my life to it, and think about how to go faster constantly. At the end of the day, however, the guys who pull the hardest, row the longest, and race the best will win.
I am trying to figure out a way to marginally shift the focus of this blog. I still want to write about rowing, about my life in it, but in a way which is more interesting, and simpler. Any ideas about there? I appreciate any input.

  1. Hey Silas,

You could write a couple posts about rowers who've inspired (past or present) and why, ie, their lifestyle, approach, technique, etc. You could even talk a little about your different coaches... Good luck at Lucerne!

  2. Hi, just wanted to say I just stumbled across this blog and I've really been enjoying reading. Even the simple posts about your training are so interesting to me. However you change your style, keep posting!

  3. More interesting and simpler than...what? I think you're doing great so far...except for the lack of updates :)
