All nuclear reactors up and running. Burning up fuel, getting ready to fight or flight. My sympathetic nervous system is taking over, and I find it difficult to sit still for more than a few seconds, or concentrate on anything my subconscious deems unimportant for survival. Typing is difficult. I'm not freaking out, or even feeling that nervous, but my body knows what is coming, and it is getting ready.
Heats draws for tomorrow came out. We drew:
1 Australia
2 Estonia
3 Germany
4 USA
5 Netherlands
6 Italy
Its a good one; we get a chance to match ourselves against the best in the world (defending world champs Germany), and see where we stack up. We've posted some decent times in training, although practice times taken in Princeton are always suspect. Variations in wind conditions and water temperature render any times subjective. Hence, at this point we have very little idea of our true speed. Tomorrow we find out.
