Olympicos!

I was very excited to see some of my friends succeed at the olympics! Adam Kreek, my Stanford boatmate won Gold in the 8+ for Canada, and Elle Logan won gold in the USA womens 8+. Hooray! It is pretty cool to know some gold medalists, and to dream of going to London in 2012. I really have a strong desire to do it.
In other news, bureaucracy sucks. Between trying to get my UK visa, and trying to appease the paperwork gods at Cambridge and Stanford I have been pretty frustrated. It is especially difficult when the bureaucrats are 8 hours ahead, so you can only talk to them early in the morning or really late at night.
